America’s Got Talent is a TV show similar to American Idol. In America’s Got Talent, viewers vote for their favorites and people are eliminated each week. The judges also have stupid lines to say and are bad actors. America’s Got Talent is not just singing and that is what makes it different than Idol. You can also see magicians,comedians, dancers, and other talented performers. The host is the famous and disgusting Jerry Springer. That fact alone will keep me from ever turning on the TV on Tuesday nights at 9.

Protesters did damage at the MTV office in Mumbai, India, after taking offense at an ad for the program “On the Job 2.” I can see why. For goodness sakes, Sikh women are modestly dressed and practice modesty. I think MTV should have used better judgement than to depict a Sikh woman giving a man a massage in its ad for “On the Job 2″. It should have known that ad for “On the Job 2″ would offend an entire community in India. 70 people were arrested in the protest. The 70 people arrested were later released. MTV’s legal counsel in Mumbai called the incident “unfortunate.” Unfortunate indeed.
